Because of the global energy conservation and carbon reduction trends, the photovoltaic（PV） industry has been specially targeted as one of the main industries for promotion in Taiwan. In 2008, Taiwan’s PV production value reached USD 3.36 billion. As a key producer of PV products in the world, Taiwan’s production is projected to climb to 15 billion by 2015.
The Taiwan External Trade Development council（TAITRA） is honored to lead 11 excellent Taiwanese PV suppliers to the Middle East. The delegation is to introduce the latest PV products and technologies from Taiwan to local companies in the region as well as to build close business partnerships with them. Trade meetings will be conducted from Nov. 1 to 7 in Tehran, Dubai, and Riyadh. The meetings’ details are as follows：

Note: We will have a speech from 9:00 to 9:30. The speech "Introduction to Iran's Solar Energy Industry" will be delivered by Mr. Peyman Kanan, Manager of Solar Energy Dept., Iran Renewable Energy Organization, Ministry of Energy.
