GlobalTiC Entrepreneurship Curriculum Background：
Under the trend of globalize competition and cooperation, Taiwan is having more and more contact and connection in the aspect of economy and culture with other countries in the world. This caused the globalization of the capability and quality of talents that enterprises are in want of: future employee should possess global view, cultural adaptability and international working ability. How to actively cultivate more youth to become the future leaders with international internship experience and entrepreneurship to serve the needs which comes from the process of local enterprises and institutes striving to own a global brand will be a key factor of the international competitive advantage of Taiwan. To face global competition, knowledge-based economy, and the effect of the rise of China market, Innovation is particularly important for the development of current phase of Taiwan. How to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship ability and build the growth niche will be the critical issues of all kinds of organizations in Taiwan.
The role and core work of Global Talentrepreneur innovation & Collaboration is to push ahead the cooperation between industry, government, and academy and build the innovation and entrepreneurship ability of the parties through Global Entrepreneur Curriculum, GlobalTiC Talentrepreneur Award & Forum and Global Project Internship. This would be a pragmatic solution. Through the integrated Entrepreneurship developing model which looks after theoretical and practical needs will cultivate future talentrepreneurs with international internship experience and entrepreneurship under knowledge-based economy. This will also improve the innovation and entrepreneurship ability of corporate and organizations in Taiwan and construct the global competitive advantage of Taiwan comprehensively.
Goal：
ü To provide entrepreneurship curriculum that looks after theoretical and practical needs, and can construct the innovative thinking, entrepreneurship and the capability of execution and decision making. This will support the development of future talented leaders that Taiwan is strongly needed in the global competition, and also become the great learning condition for foreign youths to come and take internship in Taiwan.
ü To carry out organizational learning in the way of teamwork, cultivate personal execution and leadership by enterprises visiting, competition practicing, and case-study discussing and project internship.
ü To construct a diverse cooperation platform which links the industry, government, and academy. Increase the interaction between enterprise and youth, shorten the gap between industry and academy, and improve the innovation ability of youth and industries in Taiwan.
